You will soon be the owner of a QUADSAW. Congratulations on being one of the first few in the world to drill a square hole.
Please understand that in placing your pre-order for the QUADSAW we need to have an agreement in place between us. This is a necessary part of any business today. So to make this as straight forward as possible, we will explain the terms of the agreement in simple plain language.
Genius IP Ltd is a registered UK company and its company number is 08185075. Genius IP created the QUADSAW and owns the QUADSAW brand. In this agreement Genius IP will be called “we” or “our”.
and
You, obviously will be called “you”
- The QUADSAW performs best with a power drill. The higher the revolutions per minute (rpm) the better the performance. As guide only, we recommend 3500 rpm or greater.
- We are always asked, “how does the QUADSAW work”? You might be tempted to want to “look inside”. If you do this, you will ruin it, as it sealed to prevent dust getting into the mechanism. If you try to open the QUADSAW, you will break it and you will not be able to rely on our warranty. We think this is fair enough.
- With the supplied blades the QUADSAW should only be used on plasterboard. If you use it on any other material this will void the warranty. We are developing different blades to be used on other types of materials. However, these are still in development.
- The QUADSAW will not work with a hammer or percussion drill. It can only be used with a standard rotary drill.
We are agreeing to deliver to you during Q4 of 2017 a QUADSAW, or QUADSAWS if you are pre-ordering more than one. Each QUADSAW comes with six blades, to enable you to cut single and double sockets. We are working very hard to deliver your order as soon as we can. However, as we are using factories that we do not ourselves own to make the QUADSAW it is a possibility that the delivery could be delayed. We don’t think that this will happen, but it does exist as a possibility. We just want you to understand this before you place your order.
You are agreeing to pre pay for your QUADSAW on the understanding that it is yet to be manfuctured. This will ensure that you are one of the initial lucky ones to be able to own and use this amazing tool.
If you decide that you want to cancel your order, you can do that and we will refund your payment in full. You can cancel your order any time before it is dispatched. You can also ask for a full refund after you have received your order if you do so within 14 days of receiving your order. You can only do this if you have not misused or tampered with the QUADSAW in any way and have retained your proof of purchase.
If you are returning the QUADSAW because it is faulty we will pay the postage. If you are returning it for any other reason, you must pay the postage for its return. Obviously we can only refund you if we receive the QUADSAW so please track it and insure it when sending it back to be certain that we do actually get it back.
The QUADSAW that is delivered will be slightly different in its appearance than the one seen at the time you placed your pre-order. This is because the QUADSAW featured on the website is the pre-factory production model. Improvements will be made to the QUADSAW during factory production.
We will use the personal information you provide to us to supply the products to you and to process your payment for them. We will use it to give you updates about the progress of your order. Also, if you agreed, we will give you information about other products that we develop. Don’t worry, we will not bombard you with emails and we will not give your information to anyone else. You can stop receiving information from us at any time by dropping us a note.
We will warrant the QUADSAW for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Please remember to retain your proof of purchase as you will need this to benefit from the warranty.
We will repair or replace your QUADSAW during the warranty period if your machine is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function.
Of course we cannot offer a warranty for normal wear and tear, accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or use of the QUADSAW in any way other than for its intended use.
As explained to you above we cannot offer any warranty if you have attempted to open the QUADSAW or in any way tamper with its mechanism.
We cannot offer any warranty on the blades.
We disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose, and all other warranties. In no event shall we be liable for any incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any costs, legal fees, expenses, losses or delays alleged to be as a consequence of any damage to, failure of, or defect in the QUADSAW including, but not limited to, any claims for loss of profits.
We cannot disclaim liability for death or personal injury.

Let's hope we don't have a fall out. If we do, we will seek to resolve things amicably before getting those lawyers involved. Once you notify us of an issue, we agree to work with you in good faith to resolve the problem. If after at least one meeting between us and one month has passed since we have known about the problem and we still can’t sort things out, only then shall either of us have the right to 'go to guns' and use a formal legal process.
